Pat is an expert in taxes. He is also one of the rare accountants that truly understands the dynamics of estates and trusts. Pat enjoys using his taxation and estate planning expertise to minimize his clients’ taxes while guiding them through the stress and pressure of handling the estate when a loved one passes away.

While taxation is his main focus, Pat also assists with succession planning, financial stability issues, and support for business owners with their financial statements. He aids his clients with the knowledge needed to utilize the information available and is always on hand to provide support with additional advisory services.

Pat is experienced working with businesses and individuals across the United States. He has extensive experience with international properties, investments and estate planning. In addition to income tax preparation, the planning and administration of trusts, he is also a consultant on such matters as aiding construction firms with planning and building large projects within the United States. In addition, he facilitates manufacturing companies in developing cost control systems, provides asset allocation advice to estates and trusts, and court accountings.

Prior to his current practice, Pat co-founded Salas & Giacinto in 1983. He was also a Senior Tax Specialist with Coopers & Lybrand in Newport Beach, California, and with Arthur Young & Company in Santa Ana, California.

Today Pat is heavily involved in serving the community. He is a past Chairman of CHOC (Children’s Hospital of Orange County) at Mission Hospital, and serves on the Board of Directors of Children’s Healthcare of California, Children’s Hospital of Orange County and Children’s Hospital at Mission. Pat recently was chosen as a guest of honor for the Fruitful Futures Project, a nonprofit organization supporting Veterans, those in need and First Responders. He was presented with an award for ‘Outstanding and Dedicated Service to his Country and Community’. Pat is a Purple Heart recipient as well as the recipient of two Air Medals, and an Army Commendation Medal.

Pat has been married to his beautiful wife, Kathy, for 49 years. Together they have been blessed with three children and nine grandchildren. When not in the office Pat enjoys baseball, golf, and spending time with his family.
